When it comes to T-shirts, there is no such thing as “too many”.

T-shirt designs are always evolving, and we can’t help but fall in love with the new colours, slogans, prints, and overall designs which come out season after season. Our T-shirt drawer is always expanding – so much so that it’s no longer just one single drawer – but we don’t begrudge any piece, as there is an occasion for each and every one of them.

As we’ve added some great T-shirts to our website, we’re going to show you how you can style them for a multitude of different occasions.

Dressed up or down, here are a few ways to wear some of our latest T-shirt drops…  

Jeans and a tee

I.e. of the simplest outfits that has the potential to be as versatile and expressive as we desire. We will never get bored of the jeans and tee sartorial combination, especially as so many things can be added to accommodate different occasions.

Is it just us, or does putting on something bright just instantly lift your mood? Something as simple as a plain bright T-shirt achieves that for us, and nothing is more uplifting and summery than this bright Coster Copenhagen fuchsia T-shirt. A plain tee almost acts as a blank canvas, so it can be styled up or down in a number of different ways. French tuck it inside a pair of jeans for that “I just threw this on” look, and team with a comfortable pair of sneakers and a large tote bag. Alternatively, add a fitted blazer and some jewellery for a chic dinner look.

With a suit or sharp blazer

Suits are going a whole lot further than the office this season, so we’re excited to start having more fun with them. Choose bright coloured suits in plain but bold hues, and team with a sharp blouse or crisp shirt to maintain some professionalism. However, our favourite way to mix things up is to go for a slightly more format suit, and swap the blouse for a T-shirt. And boy, do we have a large selection of T-shirts to work with! You can play with colours, fabrics, and of course, patterns, so go as wild or as subtle as you want.

Alternatively, pair a slogan tee with a blazer, some skinny fit jeans, and stilettos for the ultimate smart/casual aesthetic.

With a summer maxi skirt

For true spring/summer style, tuck inside a floaty white maxi skirt with a waist-cinching belt to add some structure and definition. As well as T-shirts in wild and zany prints, invest in a few plain staples to wear with your more outlandish skirts that might be harder to match.

Our navy Dark Moon Garcia T-shirt would go wonderfully with a floral maxi skirt, or with a monochrome bold coloured maxi broken up with a wide waist belt. If you want something brighter, how about our Garcia safari print shirt paired with a skirt in an equally vibrant orange hue?

Underneath a summer dress

The dress over T-shirt trend is undoubtedly one of our favourite longstanding trends. This trend bodes exceptionally well for anyone living in slightly chillier climes (hi!) as it means we get the chance to wear our favourite spring/summer dresses more often.

We would wear this Coster Copenhagen T-shirt with a summer midi dress in a contrasting floral print to really mix things up. We are playing with sartorial convention here, so there are no wrong ways to do this.

With a waist cinching belt

Many women worry they will lose their feminine silhouette when wearing a T-shirt, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Especially when you add a waist cinching belt, as this shows off your shape and even creates the illusion of curves if you don’t have any.

We would tuck this yellow Coster Copenhagen tee inside a pair of leather trousers and, of course, a waist-cinching belt. Because why not?

With an evening maxi skirt

Nothing adds edge to an evening look quite like a T-shirt.

A metallic gold or silver maxi skirt, for example, screams glamour. Not only does pairing it with a T-shirt add another dimension to a classic evening look, but it can make the look more wearable in a day-to-night context. Cinch the waist in with a thin belt, and team with an elegant clutch bag and cage heels, or heeled ankle boots. And don’t scrimp on the accessories!

With a mini skirt

We’re dreaming of floaty springtime maxis right now, but we can’t neglect short skirts either. A white mini skirt paired with a simple white T-shirt and a printed belt is one way to go. Alternatively, add some edge by going for a fitted mini skirt and toughening the look up with a dark slogan tee.

This isn’t just a summer trend, either. We love mixing up autumn/winter style by teaming a mini skirt with tights, boots, and our favourite T-shirt. Throw an oversized cardigan, gilet, or leather jacket and scarf on top when the weather gets even chillier.
